I like what you have going on here. Everything seems to be short simple and to the point which is good for people who are just casually browsing and not looking to get too involved. That’s something I struggle with as my posts tend to ramble on into the 1000’s of words depending on the topic I’m writing about. Thanks, for visiting my blog. I’m going to check out your other 2 blogs later todat when I have more time and not at work. Juist wanted to take a look at this one since you’ve already commented twice on mine. Keep up the good work.

    • Thanks, I don’t really have much time to write my news posts and they tend to be only 100+ words. Hopefully I can expand a bit, although by analysis posts, which I haven’t done much recently, can get pretty long, like my 1000+ word Super Bowl Preview. Sometimes, that’s really good to have long posts, and I like to hear your clear opinions on the topic. Sure, no problem for visiting, and I subscribed to it because I liked it so much! Actually, I forgot yesterday when I subscribed to put you on my “Blogs I like” page. I will today. Check back to see your blog. That’s fine, whenever you can look at them is fine. Just notice that they are not updated as often, and the Fantasy one I didn’t get to post my usual weekend post, so it’s been 10 days in between posts. Sorry. And thanks for the complement, I’ll be checking back too to your blog!

  2. Thanks for the add! I’ll put The News Of Sports on my blogroll as well.

This is a solid blog with tons of fresh, current info. Even though Hawks/Nucks have been rivals the past couple years, I love Chicago, one of my favorite cities. Adding you to my blogroll.

Great site! Love the fact that you cover all sports, from the big 3 to even soccer. I’ve been wanting to do a sports blog, seeing your site certainly gives me some ideas. Love the content, the polls, etc.

    • Thanks! I’ve been trying to draw viewers from all over. I like to think that my blog is multi-dimensional, meaning I have many sports that I have views on. The problem is, since I have all these subjects, it’s hard to squeeze all that into the hour or so that I get to work on my blog each day!

thanks for all your replys, but my favorite team is the Sacramento Kings!!! love em big time since 1989! i had season tickets for 11 years.
The years of C-Webb, Bibby, Christie, Valde, Peja were crazy!!!
things are starting to look up again, Tyreke and Cousins are going to be really good.

    • Nice! Season tickets, sounds awesome. Yeah, until C-Webb busted his knee, the Kings were the next big thing. They are, I agree, Tyreke had a down year but him and DeMarcus Cousins are solid players, just a few more pieces and they’ll all set.

  10. love your blog hope you can check out mine

I like what you’ve got going on here, and I think if we spoke about potential opportunities with GuysNation, you might be excited by the prospects. I believe you have my email address (from this comment), but if not, come over to GuysNation and respond with a comment to the Opportunities tab and we’ll get things rolling.

I was wondering, how do I get my blog, Sam’s Sports Brief (sambrief.com) on the Sports Blog Movement?

I appreciate the support you’re giving my blog! I read some of your older posts, and I can’t wait to read some of your posts in the future. I can tell you know your sports.

Thanks for getting back to me. I currently operate several sport blogs. Several cover college sports, and I have a few covering NBA and MLB. Not sure whether you’ve heard of SB Nation or not, but that is what I’m going for. I currently have about 16 bloggers in the network I’m trying to create. Your blog would be a great opportunity.

I’ve been trying to think of a good network name. With you blog, I could use NewsOfSports.com. This would serve as the headquarters blog for the whole network. News of Sports Blogging (NSB) would be a great name. I’m looking forward to hearing your reply. Thanks.

PS: You can also contact me on Twitter @KeenanWooten, or by email at keenanwooten@gmail.com

    • I definitely know SB Nation, I’m a big fan of theirs and their idea. I agree, it would be a great opportunity. News of Sports Blogging is, I agree, a fantastic name. I like the idea for sure. Would there be anything that you want me to do or should I transfer the link to you? Also, if you would make the URL newsofsports.com, you wouldn’t need my URL, as currently it’s thenewsofsports.wordpress.com. I’m happy to give you the name for the site if you’re hoping to do this.
