Vettel wins 2011 Singapore Grand Prix

Sebastian Vettel needs only one more point in Japan to win his second consecutive F1 title.

After winning another race, this time the Singapore Grand Prix, Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel is a mere 1 point away from securing his second consecutive F1 title. He’ll get his chance in Japan, as Jenson Button finished second, and had he finished any lower, Vettel would be the world champion of 2011 already. Unless something catastrophic happens, the young German driver will win his 2nd straight title. It has been a fantastic year for Sebastian Vettel, as he started out on fire, winning 5 of the first 6 races to build a huge lead, only to struggle a bit afterwards, winning no races for a 3 race stretch. He’s coming back with a vengeance, winning 3 straight races including his victory in Singapore. The next Formula 1 race will be in Japan on 9th October, as the season continues its Asian tour, going next to Korea, then the inaugural Grand Prix of India in Noida, New Delhi, India.
