#1 pick Hall out for season

Edmonton Oilers rookie Taylor Hall will miss the remainder of the season.

#1 overall pick Taylor Hall will miss the remainder of the 2010-2011 season due to a left ankle injury. Bizarrely, Hall injured his ankle in his first NHL fight. The Oilers will be without their first pick for the rest of the regular season, including the playoffs should Edmonton get there. That is very highly unlikely though, as Edmonton sits at 52 points, and last place in the Western Conference. Hall has amassed 22 goals and 20 assists this season. The 19-year old was drafted in June in the NHL Entry Draft.
