Thornton bought out

Al Thornton has agreed to be bought out from the Washington Wizards.

First it was Mike Bibby. Now, it’s Al Thornton. Thornton has been bought out from the Washington Wizards and will likely go to the Golden State Warriors. This was the second buyout from the Wizards in two days, as Bibby decided to give up his 2012 salary to leave Washington. Bibby was traded to Washington in last week’s Trade Deadline from Atlanta. The forward is averaging 8 points per game, but didn’t play for Washington, suffering from a finger injury. He previously played for the Los Angeles Clippers and was traded to Washington a year ago.
