Bulls edge Heat in Eastern Conference duel

Likely MVP Derrick Rose didn't slow down against the Miami Heat, scoring 26 points.

At the beginning of Thursday night’s game between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls, the Heat looked like they would dominate on the road, and had a nine point lead going into halftime. But then the Bulls fought back in the third quarter, and wound up winning the game, 93-89. Luol Deng scored 20 points and won the game for the Bulls with a 3 pointer with about 16 seconds left. MVP candidate Derrick Rose scored 26 for Chicago as well. The Heat didn’t lose their lead without a fight, though, as Dwyane Wade scored 34 points, and LeBron James helped out with a 29 point, 10 rebound, 5 assist game. Chris Bosh, though, was awful, going 1 for 18 and scored only 7 points. Joakim Noah guarded him and was playing his second game since returning from a thumb injury and scored 7 points coupled with 8 rebounds.

That was a great game. I think it’s safe to say the Heat still have issues when you take into account their record versus the teams considered to be legit contenders in the NBA.
