The Toronto Blue Jays and slugger José Bautista are very close to a five year, $65 million extension. Bautista was the home run leader in the MLB in 2010, hitting a whopping 54 home runs, more than three times his previous highest. He was selected to the 2010 All-Star Game in Anaheim for the first time in his 7 year career. The 30-year old Bautista played 3rd base and right field for the Blue Jays, and hit .260 and totaled 124 runs batted in.
