Cavs end streak

Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison was a big factor in Cleveland ending their 26-game losing streak.

The Cleveland Cavaliers can let out their breath. The streak is finally over. The Cavs won for the first time in almost two months with a 126-119 overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers. The 26 game losing streak, tied with the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers for consecutive games lost including the four major North American sports. Antawn Jamison was the key factor for Cleveland, scoring 35 points, pulling down 9 rebounds, and adding 4 assists. Blake Griffin had another strong game, with 32 points and 13 rebounds to add on to an All-Star rookie season. Baron Davis scored 26 points and his layup at the end of regulation was called off, when it seemed that there was goaltending.
