Kevin Love set a franchise record for consecutive double-doubles.

Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Forward Kevin Love set a franchise record with his 38th consecutive double-double Tuesday in a win. Love scored 20 points and added 14 rebounds to break Kevin Garnett’s previous record of 37 straight games. Love is having a breakthrough year, leading the NBA in rebounds per game. The ‘Wolves beat the Houston Rockets 112-108. Minnesota won only their 13th game this season. Love barely made the Western All-Star squad, due to an injury to Rockets center Yao Ming, after many complaints from people around the NBA. Kevin Martin scored 23 points in the loss.
