Grizzlies squeak out win

Zach Randolph came up big in an even bigger Grizzlies win.

The Memphis Grizzlies, desperately trying for a playoff spot, beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 105-101 in overtime Tuesday. Former Celtic reserve Tony Allen did a fantastic job in place of Rudy Gay, scoring 27 points, and was the key factor in the score. Memphis was banged up with the absence of Gay, due to a toe sprain, and O.J. Mayo, who is currently serving a suspension. NBA scoring leader Kevin Durant scored 31 points and ripped down 11 rebounds, but was nonexistent in the extra period. Zach Randolph helped once again, scoring 31 points and getting 14 rebounds, adding on to a remarkably quiet season, although he has been great. The win for Memphis put them 2 games over .500, sitting at 28-26 this season.
