Packers win 4th Super Bowl

Aaron Rodgers was playing in the biggest game of his life. He looked like he was right at home. Rodgers was nearly flawless, throwing for 304 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. It was he who looked like he had been there before, not counterpart Ben Roethlisberger. And it all added up to a 31-25 Packers victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Roethlisberger chose the wrong day to be shaky, throwing for 265 yards but 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions later, it was he who was on the losing end of the 45th Super Bowl. In front of 103, 219 people, the Packers struck first, and at one point led the game 21-3. The Steelers came back to 21-17, but Green Bay hung on and won their 4th Super Bowl since the AFL/NFL merger. Rashard Mendenhall did run for a touchdown, but was a nonfactor almost the whole game, rushing 14 times for 63 yards. A late interception by Roethlisberger sealed the game, and a scary thought for football fanatics: This might be the last NFL game of 2011. Nevertheless, a great end to a great NFL season.
