Longtime Titans coach Jeff Fisher out

The longtime Titans coach is now out of work.

Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher has parted ways with the team. He was the longest tenured active head coach in the NFL, at the helm for 16 seasons. He led Tennessee to a measly 6-10 record, and things got ugly with quarterback Vince Young, when the two had an argument after a game where Young suffered a season-ending injury. Earlier this month, owner Bud Adams announced that he would retain Fisher for what would be his 17th season. Apparently, Adams changed his mind. Fisher said that he wanted to finish his coaching career with the team.
