Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer will request to be traded away, and retiring isn’t out of the question. Palmer was selected first overall in 2003 out of the University of Southern California. He is under contract with Cincinnati until the 2014 season. The 31-year old Palmer has been reportedly frustrated with the Bengals’ inconsistent ways, as
they were a playoff team last year, losing to the Jets in the wild card round, to a 4-12 team that looked that they weren’t playing for anything. Palmer was the Heisman Trophy award winner at USC in 2002, under coach Pete Carroll, now the head coach for Seattle, possibly one of Palmer’s potential suitors.
