Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez teammates again

Damon's changed over the years, going from the hairy Red Sox years (right) to the newer clean cut look (right).

With the Red Sox, Manny was the Man.

When the Boston Red Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals for the 2004 World Series title, Johnny Damon and Manny Ramirez were two of the key players in the run. They will once again be teammates, although now it’s not with the Red Sox, but with another AL East team, the Tampa Bay Rays. After seeing most of their talent leave them, Tampa Bay picked up the two old outfielders/Designated Hitters. Damon played 2010 for the Detroit Tigers, hitting .271 and 51 RBIs. Ramirez, 38 years of age, hit .298 with 9 home runs and 42 RBIs for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox, playing very sparingly due to multiple injuries.
