Yankees sign Andruw Jones

Andruw Jones' best days are long over

The New York Yankees have signed 33-year old outfielder Andruw Jones to a 1-year, $2 million deal. Jones is a reliable outfielder, but his best days are far behind him, as he hit 51 home runs in a season, and won 10 consecutive Gold Glove Awards, but he will be used mostly as a 4th outfielder. Jones hit 19 home runs and had a batting average of .230 and 48 runs batted in in 2010, while playing for the Chicago White Sox.
