McDaniels to be new OC for Rams

When Pat Shurmur left the Rams for a new job as head coach of the Cleveland Browns, St. Louis was left with quite a task, replacing the man who mentored rookie Sam Bradford. The search didn’t go on very long, as the Rams hired Josh McDaniels, who was fired this year after going 11-17 as head coach of the Denver Broncos. McDaniels worked under New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick for 7 seasons before taking the Broncos job. The Rams barely missed the playoffs this season, losing to the Seattle Seahawks in their last game, and ending the season with a 7-9 record, a 6 win improvement.
