Brett Favre signs…retirement papers

Brett Favre has signed retirement papers, and it seems that maybe, just maybe, the 41-year old gunslinger has finally hung up his cleats for good. After one of his best seasons as a NFL quarterback, Favre followed it up with one of the worst, posting a career low in passer rating. His NFL record 297 straight games was broken and he was repeatedly ailing, whether it was his back, or neck, or elbow, or shoulder. Of course, this isn’t the first time Favre has “retired” as he came back to play for the New York Jets, and also coming back to play for the Vikings, whom he finished his second season for.
