Broncos hire John Fox

Weeks after being fired, John Fox once again has a job. After being fired by the Carolina Panthers at the end of his 9th season as head coach, Fox was hired by the Denver Broncos. Fox will replace Josh McDaniels, who was fired December 6th. Eric Studesville filled in for the remainder of the season. Fox signed to a 4-year contract. He was a major disappointment in 2010, leading the Panthers to a NFL-worst 2-14 record. Carolina has the first pick in the NFL Draft, while the Broncos have the second. Denver suffered a franchise-worst 4-12 record this past season.
