Roy Hodgeson relieved from Liverpool

Roy Hodgeson’s job as manager of Liverpool F.C. ended, as the Reds named former player Kenny Dalgish taking over for the remainder of the season. It has been a incredibly disappointing season for Liverpool, as they are placed 12th in the English Premier League after a 3-1 loss to Blackburn. John Henry, the owner, took over in October. The Reds have had their season also lowlighted by financial struggles and star player Fernando Torres, who has had a miserable year thus far.
