Stanford’s Andrew Luck staying in school

Projected #1 overall pick Andrew Luck now has no chance of being #1: Because he won’t be in the draft. The quarterback decided that he wanted to return for his junor season after talking to NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Sam Bradford. Luck finished in second place for the Heisman trophy, losing to Auburn quarterback Cam Newton. Luck might be without coach Jim Harbaugh is being lured away by multiple NFL teams in search of a head coaching job. Luck most likely would have been drafted by the Carolina Panthers, who have this year’s #1 overall draft pick.
