Dolphins will keep Sparano as head coach

The Miami Dolphins will keep Tony Sparano as head coach after a 7-9 season. The Dolphins, more specifically owner Stephen Ross, tried to  and unsuccessfully persuaded Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh to become the Dolphins’ new coach. Harbaugh is still in talks with the San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos, among other teams. Sparano is 25-23 as the coach as the Dolphins.
