New York Knicks crush league-leading Spurs

The upstart New York Knicks added another chapter to their comback season, beating the NBA’s best team, the San Antonio Spurs, 128-115. Spurs coach Greg Popovich got so agitated at the end of the game, he benched his three best players, Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Manu Ginobili, perhaps because of their pivotal next game against the Celtics. Wilson Chandler had 31 for the Knicks, who upped their record to 20-14. Amare Stoudemire and Raymond Felton both scored 28 for New York as well. New York continues to add to its league leading offense. Danilo Gallinari missed the game, and is expected to miss two or three weeks due to a knee injury.
