Winter Classic at 8

The 4th Winter Classic at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field will be moved to 8 o’clock ET on Saturday. The game was originally planned for 1 PM ET, but was switched due to weather concerns. This will be the first Winter Classic since its Original in 2008 to be played at night. Heavy rain was predicted right around the time of the original starting time. After meeting, NHL officials decided that a nighttime game would be best. The game, between the Washington Capitals and host Pittsburgh Penguins, pits two superstars in today’s NHL, Alex Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby. The matchup will be on NBC.
