Philly loses on Tuesday Night Football

Tuesday night, the Philadelphia Eagles were upset by the Minnesota Vikings 24-14. Newly announced NFC Pro Bowl starter Michael Vick threw for 263 yards, but threw an interception and accounted for only one throwing touchdown. Vick scored both touchdowns for the Eagles and ran for more yards than starting running back LeSean McCoy. Third string QB Joe Webb started in place of injured Brett Favre, and threw for 195 yards and Adrian Peterson overcame a knee injury that left his status in doubt and ran for 118 yards and a TD. The game was the first game on a Tuesday Night since 1946 after the frigid weather and snow moved the game to Tuesday in Philly. Before the game, the temperature was 32˚ Fahrenheit, a big improvement over Sunday Night.
