Dwyane Wade scored 40, LeBron James and Chris Bosh both went for 18 points and 10 rebounds, and the Miami Heat beat the New York Knicks for the second time this season, 106-98. The Heat won their 15th game in their last 16, the only loss coming to rival Dallas Mavericks. Miami has won 7 straight over the Knicks. Former Cavalier Zydrunas Ilgauskas contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Heat. The Knicks got 30 points from Amare Stoudemire, 21 from Wilson Chandler, 15 points from point guard Raymond Felton, and 13 points from Italian Danilo Gallinari. Wade’s 40 was the team high for individual player points in a game this year. The previous high was 39, also by Wade. The Knicks dropped to 18-13 on the year, and the Heat moved up to 24-9, second in the Eastern Conference, behind only the Boston Celtics.
