Brandon Webb off the market

Former Arizona pitcher Brandon Webb has signed a one-year contract with the Texas Rangers. The 31-year old has missed almost all of the past two seasons with multiple shoulder injuries. As of 2008, Webb was considered an elite pitcher, winning a Cy Young award with a nasty array of pitches. His sinker is considered his out pitch. Webb will be joining a Rangers team that came off their first World Series appearance in 2010, losing to the San Francisco Giants in five games in the World Series.
