Penguins win preview of Winter Classic

Marc-Andre Fleury saved 32 shots, Sidney Crosby extended his points streak with a goal and an assist, Pascal Dupuis scored in the shootout, and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Washington Capitals by a score of 3-2. Crosby made it 23 straight games recording a point when he scored early into the first period. After ending regulation with the score at 2 all, the game went to overtime. Capitals defenseman Mike Green was robbed by Fleury when he tried to hook the puck around Fleury but was stopped right at the goal line. In the shootout, Alexander Ovechkin scored for the Capitals, but Dupuis beat Washington goalkeeper Michal Neuvirth to win the game. This was the first game between the two teams. They will play four regular season games this year.
