Larry Brown out as coach of Bobcats

Larry Brown was fired by owner Michael Jordan after a 9-19 start this season. The 70-year old Brown and Jordan decided that it was time to make a change after meeting yesterday morning. Many coaches are saddened to hear of the move, such as Celtics head coach Doc Rivers.
“I have a great relationship with Larry. It’s just tough… It’s our business, as we’ve learned way too much,” he commented.
Brown is now only nine wins away from passing former Warriors head coach Don Nelson for the most wins in NBA history. Paul Silas, the former coach of the now-defunct Charlotte Hornets, will be the interim head coach, Jordan announced.
