Celtics make a case for NBA’s best

The Boston Celtics won their 13th straight game Sunday, defeating the Indiana Pacers by a score of 99-88. Paul Pierce went for his 7th career triple double, scoring 18 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds. Shaquille O’Neal returned, and scored 11 points, including an alley-oop throwdown over Pacers center Jeff Foster. NBA assists leader Rajon Rondo missed his second consecutive game with a sprained ankle. Nate Robinson filled in admirably, scoring 18 points in place of Rondo. The Celtics are first in the Eastern Conference, at 22-4.
