Banged up QB’s in NFC North

Sunday, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion and was relieved by Matt Flynn the rest of the game. His status for next Sunday’s game against the red-hot New England Patriots, who recently routed the Chicago Bears 36-7, is in doubt. In other news, Brett Favre ended his consective games started streak at 297. Favre surpassed Ron Jaworski way back in 1999 for first place. Favre had this streak going for 19 years. Even Cal Ripken Jr, baseball’s Iron Man, was astounded at Favre’s record. “Brett has had an incredible career, and his consecutive games streak is remarkable,” he commented. Favre injured his throwing shoulder last week when rookie linebacker Arthur Moats hit him in the back, hurting Favre’s throwing shoulder. Favre left the game last week, and Tavaris Jackson threw 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Jackson also started Monday night’s game against the New York Giants, a 21-3 loss.
