Cameron Newton wins Heisman in blowout fashion

Cameron Newton won the Heisman award on Saturday, beating other finalists Andrew Luck, LaMichael James, and Kellen Moore in a wide margin. Newton won despite investigations where allegedly Newton received improper benefits. Anrew Luck finished second, LaMichael James placed third, and Kellen Moore came in fourth. Newton got 93% of the ballots where his name was on it, and 103 ballots didn’t have his name on it. If Newton got 93% of the voting on the ballots where he was not on, he would have the second highest point total ever, only after OJ Simpson.
